The OEM brakes needed to be replaced @ 70K. The replacement rotors (#2) started to shudder the first time I had to hit the brakes on the interstate at 70 mph. Dealer replaced them. Next set (#3) lasted about 3000 miles. Same problem. Dealer replaced again (#4). Supplier is screaming at dealer because he is getting stuck on warranty.
Disc brake rotors do not warp unless something causes it! ... Without personally inspecting the vehicle I can’t say what that cause is ... Improper wheel nut torque - calipers partially sticking and overheating rotors - inadequate rear brake bias - poor driving habits.... Recommend finding ‘experienced’ mechanic for *hands-on* evaluation - that hasn’t happened yet!
