RepairPal Certified shops can diagnose and repair your 2009 Ford Ranger. They provide transparent pricing with a minimum 12-month or 12,000-mile warranty on repairs and services.
what I found is the timing chain cassets wear over time and the slack in the timing chain causes the mis fire on cyl 1&2 between 1500 to 2400 rpm at a slight load.
Only problem is there are eight (8) different engine options!!
this would be on 2.3 4 cyl 2007 automatic 4x2 @220,000 mi.
If that is the engine option that the truck in question here has in it (no idea) that may be a possibility!
