I think my slave cylinder is going just need to know if this is correct.

My clutch pedal goes all the way to the floor and when I barely lift it up the gear engages. I am also having trouble shifting in any gear at times. I have done a little bit of research and think it is my slave cylinder. Are my assumptions correct or is it something else?
