What is your question?
So my truck was 2000 Ford ranger 3.0 was running while I was checking the sensors from the stock air intake. When pulling the plugs I notice that there was no changes in the idle. I then touched the probe light to the dpfe sensor but the probe light was now connected to the positive side of the battery. When it touched the sensor the truck died and now it won't start. I checked all the fuses changed the fuel pump. The car has gas and spark but won't start. Why is that?
How long has your 2000 Ford Ranger had this problem?
Reason I checked it was because truck had no power in accleration and at times a rough idle all the signs of a bad dpfe sensor
IF so - that’s likely your trouble! Re-install original equipment (stock) air intake with sensors. Good luck!
