Many Fords have a fuel shut off that cuts off the fuel in a rear end collision - this can be triggered sometimes by hitting a pothole, or dropping something heavy on the bumper area - or? Normally a light shows up on the dash, I think. Your owners manual should tell you where the reset button is located - probably behind a trim piece under the glove box - it should be a button, about the same size as a remote trunk release button on a car - and either red or yellow in color. I think they are usually labeled as such. If this is the problem, push the button in, and after a bit of cranking it should start. It shouldn't take very much cranking -
