What is your question?
I've seen online that I may be able to install a switch but I don't want to start cutting any wires!!! The car had been in a accident and was hit in the front driver side. It pushed the frame in a little but it did make all the airbags deploy. My son was able to fix the problem by replacing the ring that goes around the key but it just recently started again and usually I would just turn the actual key around and insert it again and it would turn on but now its not letting me do that either.
How long has your 1996 Ford Mustang had this problem?
1or 2 mths since I bought it

Sorry but we can't help with issues of that type here on an open forum..
The processor requires the passive anti theft system transceiver to interface with a chip in the key. I'm sure things can be manipulated in some way, but why not just fix the car as it was designed to operate? It would definitely be simpler and kind of maintain an anti-theft system in your Mustang!
