Is there supposed to be power steering fluid in the rack and pinion boots
What is your question?
On my 1993 mustang I change the rack and pinion boots because they were leaking so I changed them now I'm still loosing power steering fluid but not much and I see no leaks. Is it Because the boots are still filling and just taking some out of the power steering pump or what?
Thank you very much is there anyone in my area that could change it because I have look and its gonna be a pain I think I could change it but it won't hurt to get some prices just to see how much it would be
try the 'estimator box at top of page -between 'find a shop' and 'my car' , or simply call local shops with vehicle info. Remember better quality parts and better quality workmanship + higher price in many cases. DON't let that fool you into bringing it to a place that will have you back in a few months (right after 'warranty' is out , for the same repair! Good luck.
