When I am coming to a stop from higher speeds I feel a strong kick under my seat

What is your question?

When i am coming to a stop about 75% of the way to being stopped I sometimes feel a strong kick under my seat but then I stop just fine. Does anyone know what is causing this?

What makes this problem better or worse?

It seems really inconsistant. It happens more if the stop is more sudden but other then that there is no consistancy

Most unusual . . Check for object in trunk or under seat that’s affected by momentum / deceleration. Otherwise have experienced mechanic test drive.
