Why isn't the left axle leak a recall on the 2010 fusions?

Cars have wear and tear issues, and some things have to be repaired/replaced from time to time. This isn't anything that is out of the ordinary and its really not that big of a deal of a repair for a qualified technician. My 2010 Escape developed the same leak and the repair kit for this was actually very inexpensive IMO.
