What is your question?
The car will not switch to EV mode at a stop or backing up. The green indicator is on and once in awhile the EV indicator comes on but the moment I take my foot off the brake the EV shuts off. I have 210,000 miles on my car, this just started happening a couple of weeks ago. I thought is was the weather but the weather has since become unseasonably warm and the EV will still not come on once the car is completely warmed up and I am driving under 45 mph. I do see it assist at HWY speeds. I have it at a dealer now, but I don't have a great deal of confidence in them based on other problems they attempted to fix but couldn't until I researched and steered them in the right direction.
What makes this problem better or worse?
No

Considering the 'mileage' and age of the vehicle - those symptoms would be indicative of failing hybrid battery.. Of course *hands-on* testing will be required to prove what the failure actually is.
Additionally - an experienced Ford technician should be able to quickly identify failing hybrid battery.. I think the dealer is quite capable of resolving this issue.
I am having the exact same problem. Mine has 150,000 miles. What was the resolution?
Same problem with my 2010 Fusion Hybrid 72k miles. The dealer has had it for over a week and are clueless about how to fix it. Did your problem get resolved?
