Car was running it stalled out and wouldn't restart could it be my coil pack?

No it wasn't out of gas it said I had a quarter tank left and no no check engine light that only comes on when its raining because of the coil pack I would have to say it was spark missing because at first it was trying to restart then it wouldn't at all. Now I have been having problems when I pump my gas that if I did it to fast and didn't stop every couple gallons it will poor out the side of my gas tank all down my car I don't know if the two are linked by chance I did have my husband bang on the fule tank while I tried starting it and nothing

IF you can verify the answers to ANY of tyhe original questions I asked , that may help you figure it out , if it's not already fixed. Otherwise , i'm wasting our time and maybe your money on guesses........
