abs light came on

If you had a proper diagnostic tool that could read body, chassis and electrical failure codes, you could pull a "C" code that would tell you at least where to start looking for a diagnostic test. There is nothing easy to fix here, as pushrod is alluding to, but you could look for a detached wire to a wheel sensor or damage to a tone ring on a wheel that the sensor reads. Still, all guesswork without a proper diagnostic test.
The brake fluid pressure sensor, which screws into the bottom of the brake master cylinder, is a very common failure on these vehicles. A failed sensor will illuminate the ABS light, and will also render the cruise control inoperative. They are easy to replace and not expensive, but you will need to clear the ABS code with a scanner after replacing it.
