What is your question?
Went out this morning and my radio was playing. It will pause when power diverted elsewhere, i.e. As when depressing power window control button etc. but continues to play when button released.....all of this happens with ignition off and let out (no power on). Disconnected negative terminal to shut off but immediately plays again when reconnected.
How long has your 2004 Ford Freestar had this problem?

Manipulate other accessories with key removed to see if they respond as if key were actually ON - IF so - suspect failed ignition ‘electrical’ switch - or - aftermarket add on equipment is the culprit. *Hands-on* testing / evaluation will be required to confirm.
Battery recharge may now be necessary. Good luck!
Dome lights, power windows, nothing else worked with no power except radio. Could turn it off but clock remained on, only way to shut it down was to pull negative cable. Immediately came back on when negative terminal made contact. Played with passenger side power window switch and it eventually shut radio off and has worked fine since. Left windows down last night and it rained, so thinking water caused the problem somehow. Made 2 different short trips and problem hasn't re-occurred! Who knows???
