What is your question?
I di try to reset the tpms light after switching winter to seasonal tires but thet steps where you turn switch On/press hazard lights 6 times until horns, didn't work. It never horn, never saw the indicator " tire pressure learning". Any advice how to reset this damn light. The car is 6 months old new tires with sensors, pressure , etc,, perfect. but this light doesn't go away.
I did but impossible to be damage,, I've been doing it for several years. I just mount and dismount the tires, have two sets, winter and seasonal with their own rims and their own sensors installed by Ford. Can it be another reason? I hope you can help me, thanks
Have you had this set of 'wheels' on the car before and had no problem with TPMS light at that time?? In other words the car 'knows' all 8 sensor frequencies... All calibrated??.. One more question.. No light until tires/wheels changed??
All the tire/rims/sensors have been calibrated or recognized by the tpms, the original tires are the seasonal and I've just mount them and the light just come up after couple weeks. I've try to track the tpms doing the " on switch, pushing hazard lights 6 times" but i did not have a horn nor the window displaying "train front left tire" come up. Read this inyoutube. Is there a different way to reset the tpms light in the Focus Hatch2014?? Note, when I switch the tire to winter, I' did have a light mid winter, it was really cold and I put air to 40 psi and it did go away. But not this time with the original seasonal from factory.
Has the spare tire been checked... Some spares have sensor also.. That's about all the ammo I got.. Next step is a professional scan test to see what TPMS module is reading from sensors...
I know that the spare does not have sensor, the dealership told me that but I'm gonna have to take it to them is under warranty anyway. However, I much appreciate your time and effort. Thank you so much. I'll add you as my contact if it is ok with you. Alex
That's cool..
