thank u for the info. what has me baffled is the fact that i can cut the car off and restart it and the same thing happens the pedal will rev the engine for a second and the it stops working the engine just idles. i can do this all day with the same result, i cut it off and restart and the pedal works for a second the it does nothing. really trying to fix this myself.
I understand that you want to fix it yourself.. However the days of DIY auto repair are about over with.. Without the proper equipment for testing today's vehicles, it's very difficult, almost impossible to diagnose and repair such problems.. Maybe find a friend that at least has a code reader, hook it up and check it out.. Good luck with it!
