How to change a shifter knob

Hey Johnimflur – if the Focus is similar to the Fusion, it looks like you can use a flathead screwdriver to separate the shifter knob from the chrome trim piece it's attached to. That should show two bolts to remove on each side. Once those are removed, the shifter knob should slide off and you can replace it with the new knob. Once it's replaced, make sure to put your key in the ignition and double check you can take your car out of park. Good luck!
