I'll put it this way... Best to reattach if possible.. It's there for a reason.. However I do see a lot of em that have been removed and it doesn't 'seem' to present a problem... I really can't say IF it's ok or not though.
Is it pretty obvious where it attaches or is it something I need to get a mechanic to look at?
Reattach by using you're imagination..best way possible, doesn't have to be factory fasteners.
