Exhaust hanger broke and is disconnected.

What is your question?

I called Pep Boys and said they did not know if it was a rubber hanger or needed to welded and they don't do welding. I don't want to drive it in case it causes more damage.

call or go to local,trusted,independent muffler repair shop.crawl up under it and tie it up with a metal close hanger,if it's dragging.whatever works until you can get it fixed. hanger probably rusted off due to the salt on the roads in the winter in MI!
