can you take me step by step on replacing points on a 1969 ford f-250 with a 360 engine.

The information you are looking for is before the scope of our technical information. Putting in ignition points is a very simple operation. I would look on Youtube. OK (you should have a dwell meter ) Now with the distributor cap off ( dont remove the spark plug wires from it) you will see the rotor remove it and underneath it you will find the points and condenser, look at the new set and get familiar with where the screw holes are located and where the wires will attach Now remove the 2 mounting screws and remove the points and condenser (Not all points sets have separate points and condensers) and switch the wire over to the new set and reinstall the points and condenser and hook up the positive wire on the dwell meter to the neg side of the coil and ground the black wire and have someone turn the engine over while you see what the dwell reading is ( 32 degrees ) is what dwell you need and adjust the points in and out and turn it over again until it says 32 degrees and put the rotor and cap back on and start it up
