What is your question?
I recently purchased a 2008 F150 XLT used--it had 20k miles on it when I bought it. The truck appeared to be in mint condition and I love it, but while driving, anytime I hit a bump in the road the passenger door--driver's--seems to rattle and make noise. I'm not sure of the cause--door out of alignment, etc.--but it does seem to be a problem with the door itself and not something inside the door cavity. The door does not appear to fit improperly in the opening, but does appear not to be flush with the other door--it's a 4-door crewcab--when closed. Also, the door seems to shake when closed and just doesn't seem solid when shut. This problem is driving me mad, so I would appreciate any feedback/insight on what might be causing this problem...thanks.

Stop by your local Auto Body shop and ask them to look at how your door fits the cab and how much to realign, also tell them about the rattling as maybe someone broke the door glass and the glass debris could be trapped inside the door cavity
Thanks for the feedback. You kind of confirmed what I was thinking already...In fact, I'm wondering if the truck hasn't been wrecked and had some body work done--I should have asked for a vehicle history report when I bought it, but I didn't. Good point about the potential for glass inside the door; I hadn't thought of that possibility! At any rate, I will take your advice as that is what I was planning on doing anyway. Any idea how much it will cost to have the door realigned and will that definitely fix the problem? Appreciate your input...
A good body man should be able to perform this in 1 to 2 hours because having to check for window glass at the bottom of the door and realigning the door properly can be tricky
