Hello, Ford's repair procedure from the factory is to replace the cylinder head. The "Insurance" (extended coverage) direction is to insert the thread stitch repair. Even then, they say remove the cylinder head for access to do this properly. If you've already done this, I'm pretty sure you won't be able to do it again. Contact a local machine shop for advice; you might be into a replacement cylinder head though.
