What is your question?
Truck has been running like crap loss of power , shaking like it’s out of balance, multiple misfires. I’ve installed a new coils and plugs was still getting three repeated misfires so I swapped some coils around. Also did a smoke test and ended up replacing the EGV valve, idle control valve and a few hoses that were leaking also replaced the fuel pressure regulator. I was still getting two out of the three cylinders still misfiring so I swapped out some of the coilsWith the cylinders that were misfiring I also installed 4 new O2 sensors. I cleared the codes and waited for them to come back because it still running bad and after installing the new sensors its saying that the heater on O2 sensors is not working (all 4)! Not sure what to do now but I’ve checked all the fuses and I do have two of them that are associated with the PCM that are not lighting up with the tester but they are not bad, Why do those fuses not light up am I missing something or do I need a new PCM? how do I check?
What makes this problem better or worse?
Driving is worse than idling, uphill is the worst
How long has your 2002 Ford F-150 had this problem?
For a while but I haven’t driven it either because of this
Some of the aftermarket coils are junk right out of the box - I recommend genuine Motorcraft. As for no power to some of the fuses - circuit must be active (being used) at time of testing.. A *professional quality* scan tool is invaluable!
I I thought I mentioned it but it was a long question anyways I have replaced all the coils. But after I put in the new O2 sensors it’s saying that the heater on O2 sensors one and two in bank one and two are not responding everything goes back to my PCM which most people say never goes out but I have a leaking front windshield, so i need to know how i can test the pcm to make sure thats not my issue.
Well yeah water intrusion changes everything! You’ll need a pin out diagram so testing at the computer can be performed. I still recommend professional scan testing - most people have no idea how much useful data can be obtained and functional testing can be performed using a high end scanner. (I didn’t see ALL coils stated in your post) Good luck!
