What is your question?
I have a 2002 Ford F-150 pickup truck and the heater won't blow hot air. Is there a cold air mixing door that might be stuck open? The reason I ask is that I cut a hole behind the glove box to see if the mixing door is working and it is. And when the blower is on high, there's cold air blowing like it's coming from outside of truck and the truck is warmed up. So I need to know if there's an outside air door open. Does anyone know?

If you're sitting in your 2002 Ford F-150 truck with the windows up and there's no noise at all, I suggest turning your control knob from hot to cold, hot to cold a few times and listen carefully. At the bottom center of the blend door actuator motor, it's a very faint sound but you should hear the little motor switching it from cold to hot. If not, the actuator is probably bad. Sometimes you can tap on it with a screwdriver to get it to switch temperatures. I'd fix this if it's the problem.
I had a similiar issue and I ran a garden hose to flush the heater core, replaced the thermostat even though it said it was running at correct temp it's a cheap part, and then I did a coolant flush and fill. Alot of times you are just about 1/3 gallon short on coolant in the system and the coolant is unable to flow through the heater core. Add some coolant if you can thru the radiator cap, take a drive with the heater on full blast and drive until the vehicle has warmed up. Then park and wait for it to cool down enough so the coolant doesn't explode on you and then open the radiator cap and add more coolant. Park on a hill with the front higher than the rear and burp the coolant system and keep adding coolant and burping. It can take quite a while to get all the air out and get the system truly full. Once you just cant get any more coolant in if u tried you should be fine and have heat. If not you have a problem with your water pump
I did put in my my first comment that the blend door is working. I took the glove box out then you can cut a hole in heater box then I can see blend door open and close when I switch from cold to hot and blend door is working. I did was a inferred heat gun it reads about 130 degrees f.
ok,just asking.i had a problem with my 2000 f150 4.6L a few years ago,the heater core went out.called around and people wanted $800.00-$1100.00 to replace,so i got my brother to call a radiator shop i completely forgot about.very good people, this is all they do,been in same place over 50 years.my windows were fogging up,smelled antifreeze, also leaking in middle on hump.he furnished everything, core, hoses, clamps, coolant, also backflushed the entire system all for $442.00 with a 1 year warranty.when i picked my truck up,it was in nov. and 18 degrees.i drove truck around town for a while and it was only blowing cold air.took it back and he checked blend door actuator and coolant had leaked on it and shorted out the motor,at that time it was dealer part only,$50.00,replaced it and all ok.these fords are very picky about coolant mixture and coolant type.also bleeding air out of system after filling.there is some good info on ford forums about this.hope you find problem and it is a simple thing.i dont think you want to pull dash out,8 hour job,2 people, hope not.

I cut a hole in heater box to see mixing door it is working. I put heat gun in hole pointed at heater core in different spot of heater core it is the same temp off motor inlet for heater core. And with the hole cut in heater box behind glove box with the blower on with heater control on hot the mixing door is open fore heater core and up to temp it blows cold air out the hole I cut. So is there a fresh air door that is not closing?
