What is your question?
New iac motor new fuel pumps not stock I think they are 340 pumps or 310 don't recall exactly , I don't hear fuel pumps kick on once key is turned to on position , so can it just be a relay or fuse but I check all fuses and they are good. Doesn't make sense.
How long has your 2000 Ford F-150 had this problem?
Just last night one time

Ever heard of an inertia switch? .... FOMOCO been using em for years to turn off the fuel pump(s) in case of an accident - however they can get tripped to the off position very easily simply by being bumped or driving over rough surfaces. Owners manual will be very help for more 'detailed' information.
as pushrod stated(the magic button)"inertia switch" is maybe tripped? located behind passenger side kick panel. first check the fuel pump fuse again with a test light. fuses sometimes look ok,but testing will verify.
This has been a waste of time! Engine shut off while driving (2000 Ford F-150 Lightning) aiesinick113... in Fort Lauderdale, FL on September 20, 2017 Lil clicking and that's it. At stop light then went to about 40 and shut off while driving no steering no brakes. Tags: ford, f 150 lightning
Oh,must have posted questions two diff times,i see, going on 1 year with no reply! maybe their I phone went dead, and they have no charger?
Lmao..So obviously he didn't fix it because he couldn't get a ride to get a new charger...lmao.. He must be stranded somewhere W/O charger....hahahahahaha
I checked inertia switch and fuse but what about the relays how do I check those?
Simple *TEST* using a 12 volt test light > *TEST* for battery voltage at the inertia switch wire connector (leaving the connector hooked up to switch) as key is turned to on ... BOTH wires are supposed to have battery power for 2 seconds - can turn key off then back on to check the other of the two wires .. IF battery power is present on BOTH wires - you can *forget* about the fuses or relays cause that ain’t the problem! That only leaves the tank switching circuits - it is very doubtful BOTH fuel pumps have failed ... IF all of these suggestions fail to help - use the link below: â–ªï¸https://repairpal.com/repair-shopsâ–ªï¸ Good luck!
Pull the fuel pump relay from the under-hood box and jumper pin 30 (ALWAYS HOT) to pin 87 (Fuel pump feed) of the relay socket The fuel pump should run continuously until the jumper is removed.if so,replace the relay.
I did this method to mine and it tripped the PATS system.. Theft light was blinking and cost me a few hours of more internet time to set it straight....lol..
It's probably the fuel pump resistor under the front bumper attached to the Supercharger coolant pump. Its a round plug.. You changed to a bigger fuel pump so its probably not going to handle the amperage needed by the bigger pumps...Good Luck... ( if the resistor is bad you can loop the wires but if read up on this issue first)
surely they got it fixed by now, their question was asked over 6 months ago,but most never reply back with what they found and or the fix.
Yeah that kinda sucks with no reply.. I have an 02 Lightning that slid and just scraped a tree, on wet leaves of course, and the way the tree was shaped the base of the tree was way bigger so when it happened the rocker panel was damaged..Anyway I bought an 04 Lightning cab and swapped them and ended up chasing a similar problem..After a few days of reading about these trucks I found these resistors and I know bigger fuel pumps drawl more amps and nobody suggested this so figured I would so it's up there, but hopefully his is fixed but it would be nice to know the issue..
May be listed as > Fuel Pump Cut Off Switch > in the owners manual. Now if this isn’t the problem - see your previously posted question. Good luck to ya!
