While the engine will not start - hands-on testing will reveal which system has failed - ignition or fuel - then further hands-on testing will reveal the failure within that system ... There are 'numerous' possibilities! No way to diagnose - online..
when the truck stalls and you try to start it back up try this>after it stalls, turn the key to on,not cranking, listen for the fuel pump to come on in the fuel tank,it should come on for 2 seconds and then it cuts off. it will do this every time the key is turned to on. if needed, get a helper to cycle the key to on,while you listen at the fuel filler pipe after removing the fuel cap,put your ear next to where you put the fuel in.have your helper cycle the key to on,listen very closely, you should hear a light/faint buzzing/humming sound for 2 seconds and then it cuts off.repeat several times as needed to make sure this is happening. if you don't hear the pump coming on(priming) the truck will crank all day long, but it will not start. post findings
