pickup getting hot How do I change thermostat?

Are you sure its caused by a CLOSED thermostat? They usually fail in the OPEN position, making the truck run too cold. But it sometimes fails in the closed position too... This could also be caused by low coolant, bubbles/air in the cooling system, and other things. Does it happen in traffic, while driving, or when going up hills/with a load?
