i got everything off already,can I just mount the seal on the pulley

What is your question?

Can I mount the seal on the pulley and drive it in with the special tool that install the harmonic balancer?

Agree with Doc ... In a pinch .. You can take the seal to local muffler shop and have a piece of tail pipe stock swedged to fit the seal to use as a seal driving tool.. Just saying.

Be sure to lube the INNER 'rubber seal lip' before installing, a little grease works well... Also make sure balancer hub where seal runs is clean & in good shape!

I can't find the tool anywhere in town,can I hammer it in? Or do I need the tool for sure? Thank you for your response
