What is your question?
Will be driving along fine for about 20 miles, then the engine looses power like it is going to die. Pushing gas peddle to floor and it sputters and then kicks in hard as the engine begins to excelerate again. Some times it backfires. Engine light stays on most of the time, as well as the theft signal flashing when first starting the engine.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Driving longer distances.
How long has your 1995 Ford F-150 had this problem?
Gradually getting worse over the past three months. Especially over bumpy roads

1995 Not equipped with FPDM.. Recommend scan test - - Replace fuel filter.
I would also check for proper crankcase ventilation and ensure you have good exhaust flow. My gut is that although checking fuel quality is a good idea regardless, your concern is likely related to air intake or exhaust flow concerns.
Empty contents of removed fuel filter into a dry - clean and clear container - let set for 5 minutes - - without disturbing the container - check / look for a separation line of possible water to fuel and for any debris. Good luck!
