What is your question?
when I crank up my truck, it will not stay idled up, it acts like it is going to cut off, but it just accelerates up and down until I give it gas. I have taken it to the shop, mechanic could not put it on diagnostic because of the year (old model)
What makes this problem better or worse?
first crank it up and when it is stopped like at a stop light
How long has your 1994 Ford F-150 had this problem?
a few months

Contact another repair facility that has OBD1 scan test capability.. A couple of areas of suspicion are the idle air control valve / circuits and possible vacuum leak(s). However scan testing as well as *hands-on* evaluation will be required. Good luck!
