What is your question?
I have a 1994 F-150 351cu.in.and auto transmission.Last yr.I had my tranny rebuilt at AAmco. It was slipping and shifting hard sometimes. Not all the time though. The told me it needed rebuilding. So it was rebuilt and has done the same thing since.I've taken it back several times and they just can't seem to find out what it is.This time the "manager"and I went for a ride and it didn't act up.He told me that the computer measures barometric pressure and that has an effect on it shifting hard.I think he's full of b.s.Any advice on this?I tried to make this as understandable as possible.I think I just got ripped off for $4000.00.And getting more pissed off!! Thanks

Good trans man with a good scanner should be able to find the problem... you just have to find one!... Check engine light ever come on? There are some engine sensors that have a big influence on transmission operation... tps and yes the map also! As you know guessing at it doesn't help... got to be tested!
Hi. Sorry not an answer. I have the exact same problem. Didn't rebuild my tranny because a mechanic said it was fine. I had it flushed and that didn't help at all. Of course any time a mechanic is with me it doesn't do it. Have you figured out what it was?
no.the engine light has never come on.They told me they can't get a true reading unless it is actually acting up.They said it won't read if it isn't doing it.
I respectfully disagree with their statment!
