I have a 1990 Ford F-150 it had a 302 5.0 engine in it and it blew so I put a Ford Mustang 302 5.0 engine in it and the motor is built and is fast but when I put it in my truck it drives like a stock f150 how come?

By “built” I assume you mean modified to enhance performance. Mustang control module is not the same as the truck - we don’t know anything about the fuel delivery setup thr list goes on and on. Truck weighs more especially if 4x4. Overall engine performance may need some attention from a professional.
