1967 Ford F100. Put a Reman 351 Cleveland in it. Starter will barely turn (In engine or bench test) When I take it to the parts house it test good on their machine. Tried another starter motor, new batter, new cables, new solenoid, even tried a 200 amp boost-charger. What is going on?
Jumper solenoid sending battery voltage straight to starter motor - if starter doesn’t crank engine then - the problem is defective starter motor - mismatched starter / flywheel combination - - internal engine issues ~ crank bearing too tight.
