Can't be flat spot on tire(s) since 1) it was there from day one and tires were replaced at 20k and problem didn't change, 2) vibration is very high frequency, unlike the thump, thump, thump of tire flat spot, and 3) it's totally unrelated to temperature.
IF I could test drive the vehicle I could ‘undoubtedly’ determine what is causing this concern but unfortunately I’m in Virginia. You need an experienced mechanic to test drive - after vehicle has been parked for extended period - will require mechanic to keep vehicle a couple days .... An ‘experienced’ old school mechanic with at least 20 years in the business under the belt - not some rookie / journeyman.
