What is your question?
I have 2005 Explorer with the charging system light going on and off. My battery checks out fine. Maybe silly, but I noticed it sometimes goes on and off when I hit a bump in the road. When sitting and idleing sometimes it does, but starts easily and drives fine. It's making me nervous to drive it. It will drive for days with no problem then starts again. Help
What makes this problem better or worse?
Bumpy road. Idle at stop sign or waiting in line for drive thru.
How long has your 2005 Ford Explorer had this problem?
A month

Possibly an intermittent alternator circuit failure or instrument cluster malfunction. We can’t determine here online - this requires *hands-on* testing. IF smacking top of dash with open hand causes light to respond - that is an instrumental cluster concern.
That isn’t exactly the *hands-on* testing I was referring to but it is a valid test. Subsequent testing will need to be performed by a pro. Good luck!
