Will the ford ranger 4.0 sohc engine go into my 2002 ford explorer?

Someone is trying to sell me a used engine out of a ford ranger to put into my 2002 ford explorer XLT 4.0 sohc. the intake is diffrent on the ford ranger. will this motor work, and if so will it take more money for gaskets and other parts to convert the motor to fit?

I'm sure the engine is the same, salvage yard can confirm that since they have ALL the interchange info!.. The need for parts transfer is not uncommon when swapping used engines...so yes it will cost extra for whatever additional parts are needed!!
