Won't run like the fuel pump quit, changed the pump, still won't run

Checked shut off switch, no change, when it quit the truck was running, is there a way to see if there is a code without having a diagnostic tool

Doesn't matter if it was running or not!... With a test light... Test for battery power at the inertia switch when key is turned to on, if no power there then test (under hood) for relay click when key is turned on... IF battery power is present on both wires at inertia switch... It is a wiring... a connection problem or a fuel pump *MODULE* problem!!

Checked the shutoff switch, the plug had gotten pulled almost off ,probably by someone's foot ,plugged it back in and it fired right up,thanks for your help,I would've been chasing that forever, your help is greatly appreciated
