Stalls
What is your question?
After driving for an hour, and exiting the highway & stopping at a ramp with an incline down, when I attempt to go car tries to stall. RPM's on gauge appear to drop below 500 or less while stopped. Nothing on computer readouts. Have replaced the plugs, wires, and "Valve ROM", recalibrated the PCM, adjusted the throttle body without luck. Any suggestions?

What's the "ROM"? What adjustment did you think you made on the throttle body.

THE SAME THING HAS BEEN HAPPENING TO ME FOR A FEW MONTHS! I CHANGED THE FUEL PUMP TWICE AND THOUGHT IT WAS A FAULTY PUMP. THEN I HAD THE FUEL PRESSURE CHECKED AND THE PRESSURE WAS LOW. FOUND OUT THAT I HAD TO REPLACE MY MASS AIRFLOW SENSOR. NOW MY TRUCK DOESN'T STALL AT ALL!

ROM is Idle air control valve, The throttle body was cleaned and screw adjusted.
Is there anything fuel related that could be causing this starving (causing the RPM's to drop) then flooding when trying to take off from the stop?
The device that controls the idle is not ROM. It's the idle air bypass valve. How did you adjust the curb idle? Have you checked fuel pressure, volume and residual pressure. If you really want the right help email me at swaths3644@mypacks.net.
my 2004 explorer will start but wont stay running when i drive it ,after a while it stops but starts up again,what do think is the cause?
