When i first crank engine oil pressure gauge is normal after driving it will go up and down erratically then show no pressure

Removal of the electrical oil pressure switch and installing a mechanical pressure test gauge is standard diagnostic procedure for oil pressure concerns.

check the oil level , oil filter is tight , if everything looks check the oil pressure switch.
