What is your question?
I was driving to the store yesterday and i went through an semi deep puddle and my explorer just shut off and i popped the hood and the air filter was soaked so i took it off fron the throtle body and looked inside and there was quite a bit of water i had it towed home and i tried ti start it later on that night after i thought things might dry up and it just makes a semi loud grunting noise and wont turn over. i guess my question would be what could the possibilities that the engine is seazed up? or what might i need to replace?

You have hydraulic engine lock and need to remove all the spark plugs, then turn the engine over and the water will exit out the spark plugs holes once the water is out reinstall the plugs and if no internal damage was done it should fire up again, then have the oil changed
Answer #1 is good advice. If you are lucky. Water does not compress and that is what happens in the cylinder. I have seen the aftermath of a truck that died after going though a puddle... Broke a piston and the piece that was still connected to the crank shaft knocked a quarter size hole in the oil pan and took a small chunk out of the engine block. Good Luck. Get that water out of there a.s.a.p.
Answer #2 thank you for not letting #1 rob this person blind! Need more like you. Anna Taylor
