Power lift gate

What is your question?

How do I adjust the height of 2011 Ford Expedition limited power lift gate. It hits my garage ceiling and then bounces back to close as a safety feature. I’d like to adjust and lower the opening height of the power lift gate do this doesn’t happen. Need it lowered at least 4 inches.
