Look elsewhere for more performance - 'original equipment' type spark plugs are as good as it gets!
The factory plugs are what you need if you are having a shutter problem it could be something else in the ignition system. My first question would be is the check engine light on ?
That was an awesome reply Plain and simple to the point What do recommend as far as wires and coils
Motorcraft.!
As a novice, I have tried to research spark plugs, and I agree - it seems like it best to stay with good OEM quality, which I think are usually platinum plugs that last 100K supposedly. If I can, I would rather change mine at about 80K, which is still an awfully long life for a spark plug - when I looked at various spark plugs which claimed to be better, the results seemed to be that there wasn't much difference - some would sometimes give a bit worse gas mileage and power, sometimes a bit more, but not enough of a difference to be remotely worth the money or effort. And sometimes there were problems with them - why not simply try to spend that money elsewhere with what professionals may recommend - (and keep an eye on the scams, most fuel savers and power increasing gadgets are worthless and may do harm) - and perhaps just change your existing plugs just a bit earlier if you wish? Basically, on my 99 Mustang the plugs do seem to last 100K, I changed this once at 80, and short on cash I will probably wait till about 180K to replace them again -
