What is your question?
125,000 miles. Has had recent major tuneup. Car has stalled 4 times over a 3-mo period. Each time i was driving on a small incline. First guy said it was a faulty spark plug, 2nd time it was thought to be a fuel relay switch, just last week the fuel pump was replaced. Even with these repairs it just happened again. After the car sits 5 min or so it will restart. I feel lucky i have not been rearended as the power just dies..car is sitting in driveway now waiting for mechanic tomorrow..i am so perplexed. Someone mentioned it could be a vapor lock issue...

Coils fail more often. Bring it to Contra Costa Auto Service and let them see it.
no engine codes?check engine light never came or comes on?
Excuss my illiteracy when it comes to cars. Yes there were codes. Yes engine light comes on. Car is still in shop because once towed there yesterday, it seems to be working normally. Mechanic keeps waiting for it to die so he can check diagnostics again...he says issue is definitely on the fuel side.
what are the codes?could be fuel pump going out,but sometimes it won't throw a code for that, mine didn't.could be a number of things?
Fuel pump already replaced and retested. Now mechanic has replaced a ground wire to pump and thinks this will do it. He kept it today and started engine several times and it ran smoothly. I am still scared to drive it. I do trust this mechanic but 5 stalls on the highway of late has me really nervous. Thanks for your replys
ok.good luck with it.post results.
Is this issue discoverable when they run diagnostics??
according to who has got it and how good they are finding problems, and if guessing or know what they are doing?hope you have it at a good trusted local repair shop!
