Transmission was working fine alternator went bad replaced now transmission pro

What is your question?

Alternator went out ran battery all the way down. Replaced alternator now transmission started acting funny drove fine for a day now today acts like its not going into gear. Wont go into neutral to push it. Thats why i think its a sensor or something simple

The gear SHIFT LEVER isn’t working the transmission LINKAGE !! Transmission is remaining in PARK position. There’s a couple of possibilities here - *hands-on* inspection / evaluation will be required. Good news is it’s not the transmission itself. Good luck!
