Had battery disconected for service work. Inspection is due and not sure everything is reset for emissions test. On my Honda Pilot if you turn ignition on check engine light will blink 3 times if not reset. Is there anything like that for ford?

you don't know.if battery was disconnected, you will have to drive thru the drive cycle before all sensors show ready.50-200 miles.stop and go driving, interstate driving,a/c on a/c off, different speeds, around town.if you hook up obdII from az,adv, etc it wont show you.just drive it for a few days.
Like I said my Honda pilot if you turn the key on check engine light will go off in about 5 sec. If starts to blink obd2 not reset. Real simple, to bad not all makes like that.
yeap you right.i know for a fact the fords don't.i unhooked the battery on my 2000 f150,and went 3 days later to get it inspected.as soon as he hooked the obd connector in,it told him that i had 2 NOT READY.but in NC the DMV allows 2 to be not ready on the 2000 year,so it passed.i have a 93 accord also, but it don't matter if the cel is on or not, cause they don't check emissions on 1995 and below, just safety checks.how many miles on your expedition? and have you had to clean the throttle body, egr ports on yours yet?also do have you a digital odometer that blacks out sometimes?
Yes,cleaned throttle body and odometer blinks off and on. Just had flex plate replaced now have new problem. The shop fished the trans now when I come to a stop feels like it wants to keep driving and sometimes stalls
take it back to the shop that did the work, let them know what it's doing.tell them to drive it and see for themselves.if you want to fix your odometer, let me know, and i will send you a link with step by step instructions.it's a cold solder joint in the cluster panel.ford will tell you there is no fix for it,they wanted me to bring mine in to replace the cluster, then have to reprogram PATS KEYS TO CLUSTER,OR THE TRUCK WONT START. this was after i fixed mine,i didn't tell them i had already fixed it.i just set on phone and listened to one lie after another.they wanted $1200.00 to do it.i did it with 3 cents worth of solder!!!the end,let me know.
