What is your question?
1999 Ford Expedition will crank over and attempt to start when I spray Starter Fluid into the manifold but will immediate die after running for 1-2 seconds. I then attempt to start again and will crank over but not start. New battery and starter is good. I'm thinking it could be the Fuel filter, anything else it might lead to.
How long has your 1999 Ford Expedition had this problem?
A few weeks

if the red theft light on the dash is not staying on when cranking, then do this>can you hear the fuel pump come on (PRIME/HUMM) for 2 seconds, then go off when key is turned to on,not cranking?
FORD - Engine *CRANKS OK* but will NOT START - unless fuel is added to throttle body - google > inertia switch.
IF the inertia switch is found to be ok (not tripped to off position) reply for more information.
Inertia switch was found to not be tripped
Simple *TEST* using a 12 volt test light > *TEST* for battery voltage at the inertia switch wire connector (leaving it plugged up to the switch) as key is turned to on ... BOTH wires are supposed to have battery power for 2 seconds - can turn key off then back on to check the other of the two wires .. IF battery power is present on BOTH wires - you can *forget* about the fuses or relays cause that ain’t the problem! â–ªï¸Suspect failed ‘in tank’ fuel pumpâ–ªï¸ IF all of these suggestions fail to help - use the link below: â–ªï¸https://repairpal.com/repair-shopsâ–ªï¸ Good luck!
