My spark plug wire keeps going bad,And check engine light keeps coming on

OK, since you say "plug wire" I guess I'll have to ASSUME it has the 4.6L engine.... Suggest you replace the coil pack that plug wire goes to! ... Coil pack can fail on any one or all cylinders! .. Good idea to post engine size when inquiring about any vehicle problems...!
