What could cause my vehicle to want to die out at a stop and not want to start?

Stalling is usually caused by a rough running condition or a low idle speed. The idle speed is controlled by the ECU via an idle air control motor. Also, a large vacuum leak can cause stalling. It sounds like it is time to get in to a shop for some diagnostic work.
