What cables?
battery cables.the two that hook to the battery, one is RED and one is BLACK.
How much do that cost?
i did not say to go but them! i ask you a question..look at my first reply.in other words, were the battery cables hooked up backwards to the battery at any time, like RED to MINUS on the battery and BLACK to PLUS on the battery? did you see any SPARKS?
I think my son did hook it up wrong but my car was doing that before that
that's what it sounds like, and that's why i asked..get a cheap test light at Harbor Freight or any parts house will have them.then, test ALL fuses on both sides of each and every fuse on the vehicle with the key on.Hopefully, that's all that is wrong,is blown fuses? but,i'm going to warn you, there could be lots of things FRIED? you may get buy with just buying $30.00 worth of fuses and bulbs, but the computer could be fried also! if you don't know how to do what i just said,i suggest you get some hands on help with this.you might have to spend $100.00 on fuses, idk?we have seen to much of this on this site, and this should NEVER happen to anyone, but it does for some reason.i saw this happen to a Sonata one time and they spent $3000.00 on it and never could get it to run again.it went to the junk yard! like i said, battery cables are color coded,RED and BLACK.the batteries are marked,PLUS and MINUS. red always goes to plus and black always go to minus! this should be the first question on a Drivers License Test, before anyone can get a Drivers License in every state, sorry but this is really true.good luck with it.
