How do I fix a broken hatch door?

if the latch is plastic the ear that holds the unlock rod mostlikely broke off. this is one of those jobs that takes time and patients. you need to see if you can climb inside and remove the inner plastic cover over the inside of the hatch, to expose the inner door parts. once inside you can work the latch and open the hatch everything else should be fairly simple. the key here is getting to the inside latch good luck
