What is your question?
Haven't had any problems with my wagon until i stopped to grab some grub at a truck stop and when I tried to start it back up it made really bad banging noises so I turned it off. Trying to replace the timing belt thinking it skipped a tooth and was off, but i cant get the crankshaft mark to line up because its "catching" on something. What could be the cause and would it even be worth trying to fix.

Suspect one of the exhaust valve seats has dropped out of the cylinder head, holding the valve open, and the piston is now hitting that valve.. *Can't be sure* but you can pull the spark plugs out and look into cylinder with a good flashlight for signs .. or the best way to tell is with a video scope or bore scope.. Look into cylinders 3 & 4 first.. Whether it worth fixing or not, I don't know.. You decide after checking it out.
